June: The Quicksilver Season

A Gemini Crystal Trinity to ignite and align our creative spirit in June
June is the month of daylight. Can you feel ithe shift from May? We climb toward the Summer Solstice, the height of daylight, and something in our body wakes up with it. The evenings stretch long and golden and carry that familiar urgency to squeeze every last drop out of the sun. Mornings start before we do. And the world is alive.
June still has a way of saying: "there is more possible than you think, and there is time, space and daylight to do it!" We are programmed to pack it all in during this season.
This is why I call it "The Quicksilver Season".
June has motion in it. Ideas, energy and even our bodies seem to travel faster, wake up earlier and a certain "get it done" mentality sparks up. It is about aliveness, promise and wild growth. It is the spark that makes you text a friend, start something new, plant everything you see from the garden center, try a new recipe, and maybe even say yes to the thing you have been wanting to experience (might I suggest a painting class with me??)
The Solstice brings the element of FIRE into full presence. Not just heat, but illumination and awareness too. Fire is confidence. Fire is clarity. Fire is the brave first step. Fire is the NOW vibe and the magic carpet ride we have been building toward so far this year.
And then, right as we reach the peak, we hover briefly before those precious daylight minutes start to wan again. And just like that we shift gears. On June 21st we enter Cancer season, and the energy pulls us toward home, and what is within. June holds both energies for us: The outward glow and the inward pull as we shift into July.
To mirror June in my art , I work with a Crystal Trinity that delivers on this month’s promise and pace. Fluorite. Orange Calcite. Citrine. Thes three gemstones move like quicksilver together and are perfect for June's unique energy.
Fluorite
Fluorite is the organizer of light. It helps us find the plotline. June can arrive with ten beautiful ideas at once. Fluorite helps you choose the one that matters today. In paint, it feels clean and crystalline, like the moment your next step becomes obvious. It is the violet ray of aligned action.
Why it belongs in June is simple. It turns inspiration into clear direction.

Air is for clarity, pattern, and thought. Earth for structure and follow-through.

Discernment, insight, and the ability to see what matters.
Seasonal medicine: Cut the crap and find the station over the static. June moves fast and its fabulous.

Oh oh! Mercury Retrograde begins June 29th
This year, Mercury goes retrograde starting June 29th. Retrogrades can bring their classic quirks. Messages sent to the wrong person. A travel plan that changes suddenly. A technology hiccup that feels personal. If you have ever laughed and sighed at the same time, you know the vibe.
Don't treat Mercury retrograde as a warning. Treat it more as an opportunity to bring awareness and rhythm to daily tasks. And re-read that email or blog before hitting send or publish.
This Mercury Retrograde focuses on
Revisiting plans and refining what is already in motion
Reconnecting with people you miss, especially family and long-time friends
Returning to unfinished conversations with more honesty and softness
Repairing small misunderstandings before they harden into stories
Listening more carefully before you commit
As we move into Cancer season and the energy turns inward, this retrograde can feel like an invitation to come home to the people and practices that actually nourish you.
