I’m heading back to Albuquerque for an incredible weekend at the Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival, one of the country’s top-ranked juried art shows, featuring 200 artists and makers from across the U.S. and Native Nations.
Timed with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, this is an extraordinary celebration of art, creativity, and place. Come find me beneath the big white tent with my newest original works and handcrafted gemstone watercolors while hundreds of hot air balloons fill the New Mexico sky.

I’m delighted to return for my third year at the Sedona Arts Festival, especially after last year’s unforgettable encounter with the Arizona rains!
Set against Sedona’s extraordinary red rock landscape, this nationally recognized juried festival brings together more than 100 artists for a weekend of fine art, music, food, and community.
I’ll be bringing new original works created including pieces inspired by the colors, minerals, and elemental beauty of the Southwest.
Come find me among the red rocks and experience the work in a landscape that continues to inspire so much of what I create.

Step inside my studio for a rare, full-day exploration of how real gemstones and minerals become artist-grade watercolor paints.
Working from my collection of more than 37 gemstone pigments, you’ll select your own palette and learn the process of transforming mineral pigment into paint, from traditional grinding and mulling to the chemistry of binders and the behavior of each stone.
Part geology, part chemistry, and part centuries-old paint-making tradition, Rare Gems brings together science, cultural history, material knowledge, and creative practice before putting your newly made colors to work in a guided painting experience.
You’ll leave with your own collection of up to six handcrafted gemstone watercolor paints, formulation guides, and a deeper understanding of the extraordinary materials behind the art.

I’m opening the doors to BlueSoul Creative Studio for three days as part of the Arts Foundation 2026 Open Studio Tour.
I am one of very few artists working today who creates watercolor paints from real gemstones and minerals using traditional paint-making methods. Come see firsthand how rocks become paint, from raw mineral and pigment to grinding, mulling, formulation, and ultimately, fine art.
Explore more than 37 gemstone pigments, watch live demonstrations, see new and evolving works, and experience the fascinating intersection of geology, chemistry, centuries-old paint-making traditions, and contemporary creative practice.
This is the studio with the doors wide open: come curious, ask questions, and discover just how much possibility can exist inside a stone.
