Each piece is handcrafted with real gemstone watercolors from traditionally mulled pigments, Sonoran clay, cactus skeleton as well as copper, sterling silver, or 24K gold gilding.
These works are placemaking portals - the way memory, land, and spirit imprint themselves into form. Each painting is a moment: the hush before monsoon rain, the breath of a breezy pink sky, the quiet wisdom of a cactus skeleton still standing proudly, even as a shadow of iteself, the pulse of the moon over the desert.
