To help navigate the library, every gemstone is grouped into one of four elemental families.
These elements are not presented as fixed metaphysical rules. They are my BlueSoul philosophy of creativity: four enduring forces found in both nature and the creative process.
Every gemstone has its own remarkable story, and together they create a complete creative journey which starts millions of years ago, deep within the Earth and continues in the our hands as contemporary artists.

Every mineral carries three stories.
The first was written by the Earth through immense pressure, heat, water, and time (spoiler art... a lot each one).
The second has been shaped through thousands of years of human connection, in history, craftsmanship, cultural traditions, healing practices, and the enduring wisdom carried from one generation to the next.
The third begins the moment you place a brush into each paint. It is my creative story, and yours.
This is an ever expanding collection of the gemstones that inspire my paints, my artwork, and my creative practice.
