AUGUST: THE GOLDEN HOUR

There is something unmistakable about August, don't you agree?
Darker mornings maybe? The evenings linger, but are definitely shorter. Here in Arizona, it feels like a high-stakes poker game of monsoon betting (so far we are even with the house). We begin to sense the turning of the season...not quite summer, not yet autumn. It is a threshold, a liminal space where what has been growing all year quietly begins to reveal itself. That subtle pull is here to get on with it all. Find some shoes maybe... and brace ourselves for the push of fall and (gasp!) Holiday season. It really is that moment in suspension where we are still all in on summer, yet we simply cannot help but be energetically shifting to fall.
I have always loved to call this The Golden Hour. This is the moment when we choose to be fully present in summer and in August. We all know this sweet spot. It is the moments that we let summer and life happen - the heat, the pockets of fun, the ice clinking around in a well-earned beverage, those cherries and that grilled fresh farm stand corn...
When I first began creating this month's Crystal Trinity, I assumed there would be one story to tell. Instead, August revealed two.
That feels fitting.
Leo is a BIG energy. Ruled by the Sun- the only zodiac sign governed by a star - it reminds us to step into our own radiance with courage, generosity, and wholehearted expression. Be the biggest light in the room. WHY NOT!?
Then, on August 22, the Sun moves into Virgo, inviting us to refine that brilliance through thoughtful practice, craftsmanship, and meaningful work. See the issue. The wild heart and the refined planner. OhOh... school principal vibes.
One season asks us to shine.
The next asks us to shape that light into something special.
This year, August is amplified even further. We move through Lions Gate (8/8), a date many in manifestation and Kundalini Yoga traditions recognize as a powerful moment to reconnect with purpose and possibility.
Days later, on August 12, the New Moon in Leo arrives alongside a Total Solar Eclipse, opening the door to courageous new beginnings. The month closes with a Full Moon in Pisces and Partial Lunar Eclipse on August 28, inviting reflection, release, and trust in what is unfolding.
It felt impossible to hold all of that energy in a single Crystal Trinity.
So, for the first time, August became two.

Trinity One: The Golden Hour - Into Your Gifts
This Trinity is about recognizing what has always been within you. No new hunt for talents and knowledge, but the remembered ones that we know are there, flirt with and prsomise we will be back form them. Someday.
These gifts have quietly waited for the right season to emerge and for use to come back for them, as we always promised we would.

Pyrite: The Sovereign
Stand in the light you have earned.
Forged in the deep heat of the earth, Pyrite reveals that our greatest strength is uncovered through pressure, patience, and time.
Rhodonite: The Hidden Artisan
Your greatest gifts have been with you all along.
Rhodonite reminds us that creativity often begins by recognizing what we have overlooked within ourselves.
Piemontite: The Master Craftsperson
Mastery begins with what you choose to refine.
Piemontite teaches that meaningful work is shaped through intention, patience, and the quiet discipline of returning to the practice.
Together, these three stones ask a simple question:
What gift is ready to be brought into the light?

Trinity Two: The Golden Hour -
Into Your Brilliance
If the first Trinity reveals your gifts, the second asks you to live them.
Pyrite: The Sovereign
Stand in the light you have earned. Leadership begins with authenticity.
Peridot: The Cosmic Maximalist
Peridot invites us to live with an expansive heart. A Cosmic Maximalist celebrates abundance with gratitude and believes there is always room for more beauty, more creativity, and more wonder. More, more and more.
Sodalite: The North Star
Trust the wisdom that lives within you.
When the path feels uncertain, Sodalite reminds us that our truest direction is found not by looking outward, but by listening inward.
Together, these stones encourage us to create boldly, celebrate generously, and trust what we already know to be true.

MY LUCKY BREAK!
August also marks a personal, very potent anniversary.
One year ago, I experienced what I now affectionately call my lucky break. Looking back, I realize it wasn't luck at all. It was the culmination of years of creative work, trial and error, persistent curiosity, and choosing to keep showing up...especially when no one was watching. And no one was, because I am in charge of my social media, whgcih means ... NOPE!
That season became the moment I committed fully to this path.
Since then, BlueSoul and my own life journey has continued to evolve in ways I never could have imagined.
New gemstone formulations.
New collaborations. New collections. New paintings. New opportunities to share this extraordinary intersection of art, geology, creativity, and wonder.
If August has taught me anything, it is this:
The light you are searching for has likely been growing within you all along.
Sometimes all that's required is the courage to stand in it. Just don't break a wrist to get the hint.
August Intention:
This month, I honor my gifts, celebrate life's abundance with gratitude, and refine my work with courage, purpose, and joy.
Welcome to the Golden Hour.
